Liverpool are reportedly among the clubs interested in a potential move for Real Madrid defensive midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

Camavinga is also a target for Chelsea at the moment, as revealed in an exclusive article by the Daily Briefing recently.

Interest in the French international appears to be growing at the moment, with Liverpool also mentioned as one of the clubs keeping an eye on his situation.

Graham Bailey said so. TBR footballHe said Real Madrid love the player but acknowledged they might not be able to convince him to stay unless he plays regularly for Xabi Alonso’s side.

“Camavinga is a top performer and he is only 22 years old. Real Madrid love him, but we know that inside the Bernabéu you can’t keep a player who hasn’t played, especially if there are other top clubs willing to take him right away,” Bailey said.

“He’s a player to watch. There are some big names under Xabi Alonso who are very likely to move in 2026.

“Liverpool are not the only team to have an eye on Camavinga, but there could be no better place for him to land.”

We previously heard that Real are likely to ask around €80 million to sell Camavinga, but would Liverpool or Chelsea really pay that much for him?

The 22-year-old is an excellent player who can play in midfield or at left-back, and it’s easy to see him being a valuable asset at either club.

Chelsea could use more depth in midfield behind Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandes, while Liverpool may need to reconsider their left-back position following the signing of Milos Kerkes in the left-back position after a slow start in the summer.
