France’s Victor Perez becomes the first player with Saudi-funded LIV Golf to leave the PGA Tour this year, with the league announcing on Tuesday that he will join the Creeks.

Perez has joint membership on the PGA Tour and the European Tour, and has won three titles on the European Tour. He played in the French Open, the only tournament not on the PGA Tour schedule this year. His best result was a tie for 9th place at the RBC Canadian Open.

He replaces Frederick Shettrup, who was demoted from LIV Golf after failing to finish in the top 48 on the points list.

Perez, who was 108th in the FedEx Cup and in danger of having his card revoked, withdrew from the RSM Classic on Tuesday.

“Joining Creeks Golf Club for the 2026 season feels like being part of the next great chapter in golf, as this club continues to push boundaries, perform at the highest level, and bring fresh energy and vision to the game,” Perez said in a statement.

The Creeks are captained by Martin Kaymer and also have Poland’s Adrian Melonk and 52-year-old Richard Brand.
