The 2025 WNBA Draft Lottery is set to take place, marking an exciting lead-up to a memorable season. The Dallas Wings, who hold the WNBA’s worst record of 19 wins and 65 losses, are favored to win the first overall pick with a 42% chance. Other contenders include the Minnesota Lynx (26.1%), Seattle Storm (16.7%), Washington Mystics (9.7%), and Chicago Sky (5.5%). Top prospects likely to be selected include UCLA’s Lauren Betts, UConn’s Azi Fuad, and LSU’s Fraujai Johnson.

The draft lottery will be broadcast live on ESPN, with Marika Andrews hosting and analysts Rebecca Lobo and Chiney Ogwumike providing commentary. Fans can also watch via live stream on DIRECTV, which offers a free trial for access to a range of sports channels. The lottery results will be revealed on Sunday, November 23rd at 6:30 PM ET, while the 2026 WNBA Draft will take place on Monday, April 13th.

The lottery odds are based on teams’ combined records from the 2024 and 2025 regular seasons, involving the four teams that missed the 2025 playoffs. The process involves drawing four balls from a set of 14 to determine the pick order, with the worst two-year cumulative record team picking third if its number combination is not drawn first or second.

Here are the chances of each team securing the No. 1 overall pick:
– Dallas Wings (19-65): 42%
– Minnesota Lynx (23-61*): 26.1%
– Seattle Storm (29-55^): 16.7%
– Washington Mystics (30-54): 9.7%
– Chicago Sky (39-45+): 5.5%

*Note: Various trades have affected the draft picks of Minnesota, Seattle, and Chicago.
