Darren Till Gears Up for Epic Trilogy Showdowns with Former UFC Foes Ahead of Ring Comeback

Darren Till aims to rematch two of his most notable opponents from his UFC career before pursuing trilogies with both. The former UFC welterweight title challenger rose quickly through the ranks, challenging Tyron Woodley for the belt in 2018 but suffered a submission loss. Since then, he attempted a second fight with Woodley, but this time in a boxing match.

After a comeback where he faced Jorge Masvidal in the main event at UFC London 2019, Till experienced his first knockout loss. This loss marked the beginning of Masvidal’s rapid ascent to becoming Fighter of the Year.

In 2026, Till envisions a future with boxing trilogies against both Masvidal and Woodley. Since restarting his career in Misfits Boxing, Till has had impressive wins, including a one-sided decision over Darren Stewart and knockouts against Anthony Taylor and Luke Rockhold. He plans to return early next year and has been warmly welcomed by the boxing community, recently attending the IBA Elite Men’s World Championships in Dubai. During an interview with Bloody Elbow, Till expressed his desire to pursue the trilogy fights and mentioned interest in fighting Nate Diaz, highlighting it as a major opportunity.

Till has headlined three of Misfits Boxing’s four events this year but will sit out the upcoming event due to Andrew Tate’s ring return, another potential future opponent. Other future opponents could include boxing star Rocky Fielding and longtime rival Mike Perry.

Fan Take: This news is significant for fight fans as it highlights Darren Till’s transition and ambition in boxing while maintaining strong links to his MMA past. Securing trilogy bouts with Masvidal and Woodley could create highly anticipated crossover events, boosting interest and blending two combat sports in exciting new ways.
