Manchester City attacker Oscar Bobb has been linked with a move away from the club.
According to the Daily Mail, Manchester City are open to offers for the 22-year-old attacker in January. He’s an important addition, but he’s not guaranteed a starter. They would be willing to sell the player for a reasonable price.
Palace keen on Oscar Bob
Crystal Palace are keen to sign him and are currently preparing for a move next month. They need more quality in the side and the 22-year-old could come in handy for them. He can play on either flank and will add unpredictability and speed to that flank.
The opportunity to join Crystal Palace could be an exciting one for him. They could give him regular minutes in the Premier League. They are also competing in Europe and could be an attractive destination for the player.
Bob needs a fresh start
Bob needs to play more often at this stage of his career and sitting on the bench at Manchester City is not beneficial for him. Crystal Palace have a competitive team and a quality manager. It might be the ideal destination for him. It will be interesting to see whether the two clubs can agree on a contract next month.
Manchester City are unlikely to command a premium for him. Crystal Palace should be able to get the deal over the line. Regular football at Selhurst Park could help the 22-year-old get the best out of him and fulfill his potential in the future.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are also keeping an eye on Tottenham attacker Brennan Johnson. It will be interesting to see who they end up signing. Both players have qualities that can improve.
