The World Series champion earned a total postseason payout of $484,748, which exceeds the amount the Los Angeles players received in 2024 but is still less than the payouts for the 2022 and 2023 champions. The commissioner’s office revealed that the overall postseason prize pool is about $128.2 million, slightly down from the 2024 high of $129.1 million, with the payout amount influenced by the stadium’s seating capacity.

Los Angeles players voted to allocate 82 full shares and 12.5 partial shares, totaling 94.5 shares, which divided the $46.1 million pool into about $340,000 per full share. The 2022 World Series-winning Houston Astros set a record with a full share worth $516,347 by splitting the pool into 59 full shares, 14.14 partial shares, and $940,000 in cash awards. For comparison, the Texas Rangers’ full share in 2023 was $506,263, while the in 2024 had a full share valued at $477,441. The value of full shares has risen over recent years; for example, San Francisco’s share in 2014 was 56.65 points.

Eligible players and managers who have been with the team or on injured reserve since June 1 receive full shares, while others can receive full or partial shares based on votes by the team’s players.
