The Racing Bulls have named Dan Fallows as their new technical director. Fallows will work under Chief Technology Officer Tim Goss, who oversees the technical strategy of the Faenza-based team starting this April.

This marks a notable comeback to the Red Bull family for Fallows, who was part of the first team from 2006 until 2021 and served as a key figure alongside Adrian Newey. Fallows expressed his enthusiasm about joining VCRB during an exciting phase, highlighting their clear vision and ambitious technical goals. He looks forward to collaborating closely with Tim and the engineering team to enhance performance and strengthen the team’s foundation for the future.

Team Principal Alan Permane praised Fallows’ extensive experience, technical knowledge, and leadership, emphasizing how these qualities will help improve the team’s competitiveness. Fallows previously moved to Aston Martin in 2022 after a protracted legal dispute concerning his notice period but left Aston Martin in November 2024 due to the team’s underperformance. His annual salary at Aston Martin was reportedly around £1 million.

In the 2025 Constructors’ Championship, the Racing Bulls secured 6th place with 92 points. For the 2026 season, Liam Lawson will continue racing alongside rookie Arvid Lindblad as the Racing Bulls strive to strengthen their position in F1’s midfield.

Fan Take: Dan Fallows’ return is a major boost for Racing Bulls, bringing back a proven technical leader who could reignite the team’s competitive edge. For fans, this signals a renewed ambition that may shake up the midfield battles and push the sport’s development curve forward.
