Arne Slott loses match official as Liverpool stunned by Bournemouth’s late winner

Liverpool manager Arne Slott was absolutely furious after tonight’s 3-2 loss to Bournemouth.

The Reds fought back from 2-0 down to make it 2-2, but a goal in the dying minutes of stoppage time resulted in a tough defeat to the team in the slot.

Most of the team on this day simply wasn’t good enough, so you can see our assessment of Liverpool’s players here.

By the end, the Dutch tactician clearly felt he wasn’t done. Perhaps it was because so much time was added in the end, allowing Bournemouth to snatch victory.

Slott can be seen yelling in the faces of match officials below, and LFC captain Virgil van Dijk seemed far from happy with them…

Liverpool fans will probably have some sympathy for Slott, but it would probably help his cause if the team performed better overall.

Liverpool concede another late goal as their frustrating season continues

This is not the first time a late goal has decided a game for Liverpool this season, and it has been a recurring theme for the Merseyside giants this season.

Slott’s side were notable for scoring two goals in stoppage time when they beat Bournemouth at Anfield on the opening day of the season, and also scored the winning goal in stoppage time away to Newcastle.

However, they conceded late goals against Chelsea and Crystal Palace, and also scored a late equalizer against Leeds United in a 3-3 draw at Elland Road.

This is not enough for a club like Liverpool, who have been hurt all season by poor defending and could still miss out on a top-four spot.

With today’s three goals conceded, Liverpool have conceded 32 goals in the Premier League so far this season, more than Everton, Sunderland, Brentford, Brighton, Tottenham and Crystal Palace.
