Candy Ride (Arg) stallion Brickyard Ride, the leading money earner sired by Clubhouse Ride and a multiple stakes winner, celebrated the arrival of his first foal on January 24 at Rancho San Miguel, California. The filly, bred by Jerry Engelauf, is the fourth offspring of the 11-year-old winning mare Tuza Limits, who is by Swiss Yoderer.

Tom Clark, owner of Rancho San Miguel, expressed his admiration for the filly, saying, “We are very impressed with the quality of this first foal by Brickyard Ride. His stallions have demonstrated exceptional class, speed, and durability on the challenging Southern California tracks, and this sharp-looking filly is a promising early example of those traits.”

Brickyard Ride, who was raced by his breeder Alfred “Sonny” Pais from ages two through seven, had a remarkable career, winning or placing in 21 of 31 starts and earning $925,477. He claimed eight victories in black-type races on both dirt and turf, highlighted by wins in the 2021 G2 San Carlos Stakes at Santa Anita and consecutive G3 Kona Gold Stakes titles in 2022 and 2023.

In 2025, Brickyard Ride is set to cover 44 mares for the first time, with his 2026 stud fee priced at $4,000, which includes a live foal guarantee.
