The 2026 Augusta National Women’s Amateur will once again feature some of the biggest names in women’s amateur golf for a three-round championship tournament that concludes April 4. A total of 71 players have been confirmed to take part in the event, with 48 of the current top 50 players in the World Amateur Golf Ranking scheduled to compete just before the 2026 Masters.

The players on the field represent 23 different countries and territories and all six continents they reside on. A pair of past champions return to the championship as Tsubasa Kajitani and Anna Davis take on 2025 runner-up Asterique Talley and amateur world number one Chiara Romero as the headliners. Megha Ngannou and Amanda Sambach will be playing in their sixth Augusta National Women’s Amateur.

Held the week before the Masters, the ANWA features 72 players competing in 54 holes of stroke play.

The first two rounds will be played Wednesday and Thursday at Champions Retreat Golf Club on Island and Bluffnine. Friday’s practice round will be followed by a 36-hole cut, and the top 30 players and tied players will compete until a champion is crowned on Saturday at Augusta National Golf Club.

The 2026 ANWA will be the seventh edition of the championship. Past winners include major champion Jennifer Kupcho, Rose Chan, whose incredible amateur career ended with her win at Augusta National in 2023, and professional Lottie Ward, who is currently ranked No. 8 in the world.
