Will Darwin Nunes return?
The Uruguay international may have to accept a significant pay cut to return to the Premier League. He has struggled to get regular minutes at Al Hilal recently since the arrival of Karim Benzema. The player has been sidelined and is no longer an important member of the first team. Leaving the Saudi Arabian club would be ideal for him.
It remains to be seen whether he is ready to return to the Premier League.
Nunez could be a useful addition
Although not a prolific goalscorer, he impressed during his time at Liverpool with his work rate, physicality, technical attributes and link-up play. He could be a very useful signing for Tottenham and Newcastle. Both teams could add more depth to their attack, and Nunez is versatile enough to function in the middle as well as on the wing.
He’s at the peak of his career and knows the league well. He was able to fit in quickly and make an immediate impact. The chance to play regularly in the Premier League again will be exciting for him.
The striker has scored nine goals in 24 appearances for Saudi Arabia, and there is no doubt that he has the potential to become a quality player in the right team. Where he ends up remains to be seen.
