What Thomas Frank has said about Palace in the past

The Danish manager was recently sacked following poor results at Tottenham. Despite his disappointing spell at the North London club, he has shown his quality at Brentford in the Premier League and could be a quality signing for the Eagles.

Frank has previously spoken out about his admiration for Crystal Palace. During his time at Brentford, he praised the Eagles’ consistency despite limited resources and how difficult they were to play against, particularly at Selhurst Park.

Speaking about Palace in 2021, Frank said via Sports Mall: “You have to praise Crystal Palace because they’ve been in the Premier League for the last eight years and they’ve been very consistent in everything they do. They’ve been on a low budget and they’ve always produced good performances over the last eight years. What they’ve achieved is very impressive.”

“It’s going to be a very difficult game. Selhurst Park is one of the most difficult venues in the Premier League. They will be on top of us from the first moment and are a very strong counter-attacking team.”

The opportunity to manage Crystal Palace would be a hugely exciting one for Thomas Frank. They have a solid record in the Premier League and have quality players at their disposal. It will be a great platform for the former Tottenham manager to once again prove his worth in the top flight. He will be desperate to get his managerial career back on track and Palace could give him the opportunity he needs.
