Former Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant has sent a clear message to Anfield bosses that he will sign Michael Oliseh immediately.
Following the Frenchman’s impressive performance in the first half of Bayern Munich’s Champions League semi-final against PSG, Pennant took to social media to demand that the Reds prioritize the winger as the definitive successor to Mohamed Salah.

Olise has been in great form since moving to the Bundesliga and was outstanding at the Parc des Princes.
His stunning goal in the 41st minute capped off a dominant first half in which his vision and technical flair left PSG’s defense in tatters.
Pennant tells Liverpool to sign Michael Oliseh to replace Salah
Writing for X, Pennant didn’t mince words about Liverpool’s summer reinforcement strategy.
Pennant posted: “Liverpool should go and sign Oliseh at any cost now. There is a replacement for Mo Salah. At any cost. Even if they add Gakpo to it.”
With Mohamed Salah set to leave the club at the end of the season, there is a huge need for a left-footed right winger with elite qualities.
Olise’s age (24 years old) and current performance, with 19 goals and 29 assists in all competitions this season (40 goals in 102 games for Bayern Munich), make him the most logical candidate to fill the void.
Michael Olise is not for sale
However, it will not be easy for Liverpool to target the France international.
Despite growing noise from Merseyside, Bayern’s sporting director Max Eberl has ruled out any possibility of a summer departure.
Speaking to ZDF ahead of the game against PSG, Hebert highlighted Olise’s future at the Allianz Arena.
“That’s right. For us, we don’t think about it for a second. He’s making great progress,” Hebert said, before describing the playmaker as “absolutely untouchable.”
Under coach Vincent Kompany, Olise became Bayern’s star man.
He has a long-term contract to stay in Munich, so it is likely that he will need a world-record transfer fee for a winger to get Bayern to the negotiating table.
