Manchester United have scheduled a meeting with Ayyoub Bouadi and are working hard to persuade him to join the club this summer.
Manchester United negotiate schedule with Bouadi
It’s no secret that the Red Devils are looking to strengthen their midfield this summer. With Casemiro heading for the exit, his recent form suggests he still has some fitness left in him and Manuel Ugarte likely to follow suit, with Man United ready to rebuild in the middle of the park.
Names such as Elliott Anderson and Sandro Tonali remain at the forefront of their thoughts, but competition from their Premier League rivals may force INEOS to look elsewhere this summer.
If Manchester City swoop in to sign Anderson ahead of the Old Trafford players, their focus could shift to an instant replacement in the coming months.
Manchester United are “intensifying” their efforts to sign Bouadi this summer, according to journalist Abdellah Bourma.
INEOS are planning to send Sir Alex Ferguson to try to persuade the LOSC Lille star to join, and are scheduled to meet with his entourage.
The 18-year-old is one of the best young midfielders and has therefore already attracted a lot of interest from across Europe. That’s why Man Utd are already keen to use everything in their arsenal to secure his signature, including signing Ferguson.
‘World class’ Bouadi ready to join Manchester United
On paper, signing an 18-year-old to solve a midfield problem may sound like a risk. But Bouadi’s case is a rare case. The teenager has already appeared in 93 games for Lille and is an undisputed mainstay of the best team. He’s ready to make a big move this summer.
Man United fans, would you sign Ayyoub Bouadi over both Sandro Tonali and Elliott Anderson this summer? Please comment below!
Described as “world class” by talent scout Jacek Kulig, it’s easy to see why Manchester United are interested in Bouadi. The Lille star has won more duels than Tonali this season and has completed more dribbles despite his younger age.
Although he is still nowhere near Anderson’s level, winning far fewer duels and recovering possession at lower levels, Bouadi would be a better signing than Tonali in both the short and long term.
Manchester United identify ‘unrealistic’ Premier League manager as leading candidate to replace Carrick
INEOS are eyeing a replacement for Michael Carrick.
The Red Devils could solve their midfield problem if Ferguson can roll back a few years and convince the £52m star to join the club.
