How to watch Friday’s CJ Cup Byron Nelson

At this point in his return to the PGA Tour, Brooks Koepka is still fighting to gain access to the PGA Tour’s biggest events. But if Thursday’s CJ Cup opener against Byron Nelson is a sign of things to come, he won’t be around for much longer.

The five-time major champion got off to a strong start in the first round and never slowed down. By the end of the day, Koepka had posted a 63 with six birdies, one eagle and zero bogeys.

This result left him tied for second place with Jesper Svensson. The only player ahead of Koepka on the leaderboard heading into Friday’s second round is Taylor Moore. Moore shot a 62 to take a one-point lead.

Scottie Scheffler also entered the fray early with a 5-under 66.

The second round of the CJ Cup Byron Nelson will be available on TV on Fridays at 3pm ET on Golf Channel. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will feature exclusive early streaming coverage beginning at 7:45 a.m. ET on Fridays, as well as coverage of featured groups and featured holes throughout the day.
