According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea is preparing to begin formal talks with Moises Caiceco over a new long-term contract, with negotiations expected to take place in the coming months.

The club’s intention to secure the future of Ecuadorian midfielders has been guided since March, and the process is set to continue moving forward.

Kayseko, who arrived at Stamford Bridge last summer on a £115 million deal from Brighton & Hove Albion, became a key figure in Chelsea’s midfield.

Despite the turbulent season for the Blues, the 23-year-old was impressed by his tireless work rate, his ability to win the ball, and the wider settling he possessed.

His recent performance further strengthened his club’s view as a cornerstone of the club’s future.

Chelsea sees Cased as a “world-class midfielder” and is keen to reward him with long deals that reflect improved conditions and his importance to the team.

His current contract runs with an additional one-year option until 2031, but Chelsea hopes the best players will get a long-term deal with the club.

The Bruce wants to create stability within the team and avoid future contract sagas involving key players.

Kaiseko is reportedly well settled in West London and is open to holding discussions.

The athletes’ camp is expected to meet Chelsea officials ahead of the preseason, and consultations could accelerate during the summer holidays.

If the parties reach an agreement, the new agreement, along with Enzo Fernandez and Romeoravia, reaffirms the central role of Caesedo in Chelsea’s future midfield engine.

Kaiseko will be staying at the club for a long time, but Christopher Nukank could soon leave.
