Inter Milan have reportedly made an offer for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, but the Serie A champions are still far from meeting the Reds’ asking price.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are seriously considering the England international, but Liverpool are not yet ready to accept a cut-price deal for a player of real value.
Despite his contract situation becoming increasingly important, Liverpool value Jones at around £35m.
His current contract runs until 2027, meaning the club are close to having to consider renewing or selling him before his value drops further.

From Inter’s perspective, this move makes sense.
Jones is technically stable, tactically flexible and still only 25 years old. He can play as a number eight, deep in midfield or cover wider areas if required.
His versatility will suit Italian football, where tactical intelligence and control of possession are highly valued.
