Arsenal’s search for a new attacker continues to be one of the biggest talking points of the summer transfer window.
Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta are determined to add more strength to the squad that won the Premier League title last season.
The Gunners already have strong links with Aston Villa star Morgan Rodgers, who remains one of the most highly-rated attacking players in English football.
Rodgers is highly regarded for his ability to play across multiple positions, and his combination of speed, power and creativity would make him an attractive addition to almost any team in Europe.
Another player who has featured prominently in Arsenal’s recruitment discussions is Athletic Club winger Nico Williams.

The Spain international has long been regarded as one of the most dangerous wide players in European football and continues to attract interest from several elite clubs, including the Gunners.
Arsenal’s reinforcements appear to believe that being more competitive and adding depth in attacking areas could be important if they are to defend their league title and challenge for the Champions League again.
Fabrizio Romano shares the blow of Arsenal move, ‘very close’ to signing with Bayern Munich
The Gunners are about to miss out on an ‘important’ goal.
There is also the issue of senior forwards potentially leaving N5, with Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard potentially making high-profile departures this summer.
It’s no surprise that supporters are keeping an eye on these celebrities, but now another target has emerged from Belgium.
Berta pushes for Christos Tzoris to join Arsenal after scouting mission
Club Brugge forward Christos Tzoris has been offered by Arsenal and is currently being seriously considered, according to BBC journalist Sami Mokbel.
He reports that Berta are actively pursuing a deal worth around £35 million for the Greece international.
Mokbel added that Maurizio Micheli, Berta’s assistant, had been gathering information about Tzoris during last week’s game against Sweden.
Crucially, Arteta is also said to be backing the possibility of signing him.
This support from the manager could be important as Arsenal consider whether to accelerate their interest.
Over the past year, Tzoris has quietly developed into one of the most productive attackers in Belgian football.
The 24-year-old has had a fantastic season with Club Brugge, making 52 appearances in all competitions and scoring an incredible 22 goals and providing 29 assists.
Tsolis can operate on either flank as well as in more central attacking positions, providing versatility that Arsenal will value when identifying transfer targets.
His direct style of play makes him a difficult opponent for defenders, a quality that has helped him establish himself as one of the outstanding performers in the Belgian Professional League.
The reported £35m fee would be below the cost of some of the main alternative targets currently being discussed.
As such, this deal could become particularly attractive if Arsenal decide to invest heavily in other parts of their squad.
The interest appears to be genuine, but Arsenal will continue to evaluate all available options before making a final decision.
But what is clear is that the club remains fully committed to strengthening its attack.
Whether that ultimately means Rodgers, Williams, Tzolis or another target remains to be completely determined.
