Roma are considering making some sales this summer in order to comply with FFP for the upcoming season.

According to CalcioMercato, the Italian team needs to collect 50 million euros in profits by the end of this month. That means not only selling someone at a high price, but also selling someone with a low “residual” book value.

The top candidates include Miles Sviler and Evan Ndicka. If you sell it, you’ll make a profit. However, the fees may not be that high.

An option mentioned by the same source is Manu Kone. He still has £11.8m left to repay, but could leave for €50m, with Atletico Madrid reportedly considering a deal worth €45m, including €5m in bonuses.

Premier League teams have also been involved in the past. The problem, as always, is that everyone knows Roma need to sell, which would damage their negotiating position.

It seems highly unlikely that Cone will be sold for a significant amount in the next week or so, and athletic director Tony D’Amico will need to pull off something special here.
