Bradley Barcola continues to be linked with a move to PSG this summer.
According to a report from Le10sport, Liverpool are very interested in signing the 23-year-old, and Arsenal are also keeping an eye on him.
The France international was a PSG international but may have to leave the team to play regularly. According to the newspaper, the player is aware that he is unlikely to start in a big game for France and may move on.
The report also claims that a summer move for Barcola is very likely.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will be able to persuade the player to join the club. They need more quality in the side. They had hoped to sign Ivory Coast international Yann Diomande, but the player wants to join PSG instead. They need to move on to other options and Barcola would be a great addition.
Although he wasn’t a regular, he contributed 20 goals last season and knows what it takes to play for the biggest club in the world.
He will strive to establish himself as a regular starter at club level and become a starter for the national team as well. Liverpool could offer him that platform.
Meanwhile, Arsenal also need more quality on the flanks. With Leandro Trossard rumored to be leaving the club, there is a need for a suitable replacement for the Belgian. They lack depth in wide areas and signing the France international would be a step in the right direction.
There is no doubt that the 23-year-old is a technically gifted attacker who can compete at the highest level and could be a valuable asset to both clubs. It remains to be seen where he will end up.
