Alex Scott continues to be linked with a move away from Bournemouth during the summer transfer window.
TEAMtalk reports that Arsenal have carried out a new search to sign the 22-year-old central midfielder. The Cherries are expected to ask around £80m for the young midfielder, but it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will make a formal offer following their investigation.
Manchester United also keen to sign Alex Scott
Manchester United also made inquiries about the player last week. It remains to be seen how the situation will develop. They missed out on signing Matheus Fernandes and are currently looking at potential replacements.
Manchester United need more quality in the middle of the park and Scott could be a great signing. He is a reliable performer in the Premier League and will help control games from midfield.
Can Iraora help seal a deal with Scott?
The newspaper also reports that Liverpool are also interested in the player. Liverpool’s new manager Andoni Iraola has admired the player for many years, having worked with him during his time at Bournemouth.
The chance to reunite with the Spaniard could be exciting for the young midfielder. However, the asking price could be an issue for clubs hoping to sign him. £80 million is a lot of money and Liverpool also need to improve in other areas of their squad.
It remains to be seen which of the three clubs can afford to sign a talented young midfielder this summer. He has a bright future ahead of him and with the right guidance and coaching he has the potential to develop into a star for club and country.
