The Minihausens made their debut alongside Danhausen at WWE Backlash earlier this year, arriving through a cloning machine. They came to Danhausen’s rescue once more at WWE SummerSlam, balancing the scales when JD McDonagh interrupted his “Human Monies on a Pole” match against Dominik Mysterio.
Comedian Brad Williams recently joined the “Battleground Podcast” to share how he became one of the Minihausens. Williams revealed that after expressing his desire to be a Minihausen during a podcast, WWE reached out to him with an offer. “I got a call from WWE on Thursday, and SummerSlam started on Saturday,” he said. “They asked if I wanted to be a Minihausen, and I said yes.” WWE then arranged a plane ticket for him, and he flew out to appear at the event. Williams likened the experience to being a clown, mainly due to the makeup, and noted that a few people recognized him despite the costume. “Some folks were like, ‘Wait! Are you Brad Williams?’ and I was wondering how they could tell,” he joked. He also admitted that practicing his Minihausen voice on the flight might have unsettled some passengers, but overall, he described the experience as incredible.
Outside of WWE, Williams serves as the official host and “director of laughs” for Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N Wrestling Rager at Sea cruise, where he once had an in-ring encounter with Hornswoggle. Because of this, he expressed a strong interest in having a proper match against the former WWE star. “I would love to do that, but only if it’s a big-money match because that would be huge,” he said. “Just advertising ‘Brad Williams versus Hornswoggle’ would be a massive draw — like the Mega Powers or Rock Hogan!” He added that facing anyone else wouldn’t make nearly as much sense.
Williams also reflected on his admiration for wrestling history, mentioning the Bret Hart and Mr. Perfect match at SummerSlam as one of his favorites. He feels his involvement has checked off a bucket-list item and given him a new appreciation for wrestlers behind the scenes. “I even got to hang out with Big E and watch SummerSlam with him,” he shared. “Getting that backstage insight is something really special.”
