Paris – Novak Djokovic won his 100th career French Open victory. This was the only player Rafael Nadal scored the mark out among men in the fourth round on Monday, with an overwhelming Cam Norry 6-2, 6-3, 6-2.

Djokovic didn’t give up the set this year on his way to the quarterfinals at Roland Garos.

“It feels good. I have more expectations about the game every day (and 12 sets are played, 12 sets win, everything is solid and positive,” Djokovic said.

The 38-year-old Serb had three loss streaks this season, but it appears to have recently been in top form, including collecting the 100th title at the Geneva Open, a week before its launch in Paris. He also defeated Nolly in Geneva.

“He was solid today and gave me nothing,” Norri said. “He protects well, serves well, comes back well and is very sharp.”

Djokovic’s next appearance will be against third-seeded Alexander Zverev on Wednesday for the berth to the semi-finals. Zverev moved forward on Monday when his opponent, Tallon Griekspoor, quit in the second set due to abdominal tension.

“He definitely knows how to play tennis. He definitely knows what it means to be on a big stage and to have a big match,” Zverev said of Djokovic. “There’s no doubt about that.”

Djokovic improved to 100-16 with the French Open. Retired at the end of last season, Nadal went 112-4, winning a record 14 championship in the clay court majors.

For other actions, no. 62’s Alexander Bublik surprised No. 5 Jack Draper 5-7, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4, and met the next No. 1 Jannik Sinner or No. 17 Andrey Rublev.
