Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes has signed a new contract, committing to the club until 2029.
Since joining in 2020, the 27-year-old has made 210 appearances for Arsenal, scoring 20 goals—more than any other defender in the club’s history.
“I came here as a young player, and almost five years later, I’m really happy and have learned a lot,” Gabriel expressed. “I take great pride in my journey, and I’m thrilled to continue it. I love this club, and my family shares that love, so I hope to win some trophies here.”

The Brazil international scored during his Arsenal debut, went on to win the Community Shield, and earned a place in the 2023-24 PFA Team of the Year.
He missed the final match of the 2024-25 season due to a hamstring injury sustained against Fulham in April, with Arsenal winning only three of their last eight Premier League games during his absence.
