summary

  • Liverpool and Arsenal are projected to compete for the 2025/26 Premier League title.

  • Leeds United are being supported by staying in the Premier League after being promoted from the Championship.

  • Another disappointing season is on the cards of Man Utd and Ruben Amorim.

The 2025/26 Premier League season has already attracted attention, with promotions from Leeds United, Burnley and Sunderland trying to avoid relegation by asking for the first time, beating the latest trends.

Liverpool will become the defending champion under Arne Slot, but Pep Guardiola is leading the rebuild of Manchester City. Arsenal and Mikel Arteta are hoping this is finally their year, but Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are looking to improve their horrifying domestic campaign last time.

Grok, the X’s AI tool broadcast by Birmingham World, has already predicted the 2025/26 Premier League table, examining the number of points each team collects, including differences in targets.

The next 10 Ballon d’Or predicted by AI

Who will win the Barondoor in the next 10 years?

20

20th: Sunderland

(30 points, -30 GD)

AI, which started the countdown at the bottom of the table, believes Championship playoff winner Sunderland will finish in 20th place.

They believe Regis Le Bliss’ side will accumulate 30 points, but 18 points more than Southampton, who was 20th on 24/25.

19

19th: Burnley

(34 points, -25 GD)

Another newly promoted party, Burnley, is considered to be the next. Scott Parker worked wonders at Turf Moore in his first campaign, conceded just 16 goals in 46 games and finished with 100 points.

However, it could potentially lose some of these defensive stars, including goalkeeper James Trafford, allowing Claret to see the struggle.

18

18th: Wolves

(38 points, -20 GD)

Wolves can flirt in bottom 3 in the 23/24 and 24/25 seasons, and AI thinks 25/26 is the year they go down.

After losing Matheus Cunha to Man UTD, old gold will have to replace their top scorers and could struggle under Vitor Pereira.

17

17th: Crystal Palace

(40 points, -15 GD)

Avoiding the drop is FA Cup winner Crystal Palace, 24/7. AI claims that it can be seen that crowding fixtures from Europe struggle in the Premier League.

Another issue with the Eagles is player sales. Ebebekiez, Marcguegie, and Jamphilippe Mateta are all related to movements away from Selhurst Park.

16

16th: Leeds United

(42 points, -12 GD)

AI feels that Championship title winner Leeds United can defy the trend and avoid relegation by finishing with 42 points.

If so, the white guy who won the second tier title in the last day’s suspension will be the first side to be promoted and staying in the Premier League since the 2022/23 season.

15

15th: Brentford

(46 points, -8 GD)

Despite finishing in the top 10 on 24/25, Brentford is next on the list. AI believes that a potential departure from Brian Mbeumo could lead to a drop-off on Thomas Frank’s side.

Mbeumo scored 20 of the bees’ 66 goals last season, but could be on his way to Man Utd.

14

14th: Bournemouth

(48 points, -5 GD)

Another team that finished in the top 10 last season, Bournemouth, could also be in line to lose some of the stars.

There is also demand for already selling Dean Huissen to Real Madrid, Milos Kerquez and Antoine Semegno, and AI feels that sales will have a negative impact on cherries.

13

13th: West Ham

(50 points, -2 GD)

One side, where AI feels a slight improvement from 24/7, is West Ham, finishing 14th in his previous campaign with 43 points.

Graham Potter is preparing for his first full season at London Stadium and is aiming to make his mark in the transfer window.

12

12th: Everton

(52 points, 0 GD)

Another team AI expects to finish Everton one higher than 24/7. David Moys is expected to come in and stabilize the ship for Toffee and lead them on 25/26th at their new stadium.

However, he adds that it is important to keep star defender Jarrad Branthwaite and add depth to the sides.

11

11th: Manchester United

(54 points, +2 GD)

Things haven’t gotten that bad for Man UTD 24/7, so AI is making them high, but still finishing in the bottom half with 54 points.

Under Reuben Amorim in the 3-4-3 system, we can still see the Red Devils struggle ending 12 points and four places by “integrating new signatures and dealing with defensive frailty.”
