Pedro Neto left a defender on the floor with sublime skill as Chelsea score, making his first goal in the Club World Cup

Chelsea Winger Pedroneto produced some lovely skills in tonight’s Club World Cup match before scoring with LAFC by cutting inside over his left foot.

The Portuguese attacker showed all of his finest qualities in this move. Using his pace to escape from LAFC’s defense, his flashy footwork left his opponent on the floor before excavating the house with a low, strong finish.

Watch the video below for Neto’s goals as Chelsea led its Club World Cup campaign to a great start…

This is like Chelsea fans want to see their team play this summer.

The Bruce certainly should be doing simple tasks for non-European teams, so it will be interesting to see if this Neto goal is the first of many of these days.

Pedro Neto, the value of Chelsea

This is also a big moment for Neto after an unconvincing debut season at Stamford Bridge since the big money move from the wolves last summer.

The 25-year-old always looked like that live wire in his performance in a wolf shirt, but he didn’t look that good for Chelsea.

However, this summer’s tournament could be a good opportunity to show what Neto could make a more important role on the side of Enzo Maresca next season, and to stake his point.
