Leeds United, which signs Lucas Numeca for a free transfer, reportedly has reached an “accord” to sign a second player in the summer in a deal worth £19 million.

Leeds signs Lucas Nmeka of Wolfsberg

Leeds announced the arrival of Nmecha on Sunday, whilst in the fashion that dug out the summer transfer period. The multipurpose forward combines with the Yorkshire people at the beginning of July. Of course, the Premier League will see a former Wolfsberg man as the latest list of Manchester City alumni scattered around the country.

When he spoke for the first time after putting the pen on paper, Nmecha told Leeds’ official media channel. “There’s someone here, like Joss (Joshua Giraboguy).

“I trust Joss. He’s one of the nicest people in football. He said it’s a big club. If I get the opportunity, I definitely should do it. He said the fans are crazy and the boys are great too.

After struggling to find his form in a controlled season with his last injury at Wolfsburg, Nmecha hopes a fresh start will give him a fresh opportunity to find the back of the net on a consistent base.

The German, now 26 years old, could be at the peak of his strength at just the right time for Daniel Fark’s part. Nmecha also seems to be just the beginning of White’s summer business, with connections with others such as Facundo Buonanotte, suggesting that it has reached a “consensus” that welcomes a second transfer target.

Leeds reaches “Agreement” to sign Jaka Bijol

According to Fabrizio Romano, Leeds has now reached an “accord” to sign Udinese’s Jaka Bijol in “personal terminology” and has also agreed to a “deal” in which defenders join the people of Eland Road.

The 49ers, which is a 22 million euro (£18.75 million) deal, have proven they are not afraid to spend the summer in the Premier League and come back. Adding Bijol could go a long way towards asking for the first time.

Like Nmecha, the defender is now 26 years old and should be at the peak of his strength. Last season he played an important role for Udinese in Serie A – starting 34 games – they secured a solid mid-table location.

Leeds certainly wouldn’t argue if Bijol helped him finish a similar finish next season.
