Lorenzo Musetti has advanced His first semi-final appearance at the French Open On Tuesday he won a four-set victory over Francis Tierfour. Musetti held back Tiafoe despite receiving a sportsman-like behavior warning in the second set after accidentally hitting a line judge with a ball kicked towards the wall behind Roland-Garros out of dissatisfaction.

The eighth seed Musetti responded immediately from the chair judge for a code violation, but was not punished any further. Musetti finished Tiafoe in the fourth set after a series of close line calls went his way in the final game.

Musetti won 6-2, 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 via Tiafoe in the same venue that won the bronze medal at the 2024 Olympics. He will play the winners of the last remaining Americans, Tommy Paul and Carlos Alcaraz for the championship spot on Friday.
