The ninth stop on the 2025 LIV Golf Schedule brings you a tour to Maridore Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas. Here you will be Bryson Deccanbo, who will try to achieve victory in his home event. Last year, Marideau held the team championship (Ripper GC won), but this year it is part of the midseason rotation.

Dechambeau is a co-lovers who follows the SMU path to school and comes to Liv Dallas with Jon Rahm (5-1 per Betmgm). DeChambeau is second on the points list behind Joaquin Niemann, who already has one victory this season (Korea) and has fled with the crown of the season thanks to four wins in eight events. Neiman (7-1) is close behind Dedanbo and Rahm due to his favourite status in Dallas.

Rahm is third on the points list. He has been steadily playing the top 10 cars since joining LIV, but he has yet to win the tour and wants to notch his first LIV victory at Marriedau. Legion XIII’s Rahm teammate Tyrrell Hutton (17/2) is fourth in the odds seat. But while Hutton has become a steady performer in the majors, he has only two top 10 in eight starts at LIV this year, hoping to take over momentum from Oakmont to Dallas.

As is the case with the PGA Tour, the underlying pressure on players now is seeking a position in the Ryder Cup. LIV players cannot earn points, but consistently playing good golf can make a point and make a claim to the captain’s choice. Deccanbo will join the US team in September, but Patrick Reid and Brooks Coepka will need to make a big statement over the next two months to get the captain’s pick from Keegan Bradley.

Hatton is currently third in the rankings and appears to be heading towards Beth Page Black, so the European side is a bit muddy, but Lahm’s position as a potential captain’s pick is still unclear. Sergio Garcia put aside the Ryder Cup question earlier this year and says he’s not worthy of the selection for now, but the chance for players to insist on Captain Luke Donald is approaching the last.

2025 Liv Golf Dallas Field, Odds

Odds via betmgm

  • Bryson Deccanbeau (5-1): Deccanbeau’s struggle at Oakmont certainly should provide ample motivation to try and guide that performance into the backview with his victory in his home town of Texas. Marido is a long course to deal with his favor. That’s the problem with him dialing with irons that are a bit of awkward all year round.
  • John Rahm (5-1): Rahm will be part of Sunday’s story. He’s always hiding in the LIV leaderboards, but he hasn’t yet gotten one at a time, past the finish line. He has played the best golf we’ve seen from him since joining the league and was able to finally pick up his first individual trophies.
  • Joaquin Niemann (7-1): At this point in the season, it was a coin flip about whether Neiman would win, and although it hasn’t been translated into majors, he was an incredible event.
  • Tyrrell Hatton (17/2): Hatton tries to keep rolling those good vibes as he rides the waves from his great week at Oakmont and seeks a second career LIV victory. He has built a solid foothold in European Ryder Cup races thanks to his victory in Dubai earlier this year, making this the best season of his career.
  • Carlos Ortiz (14-1): Ortiz had an incredible week at Oakmont, which raised him the odds sheet. He will also see if he can maintain that form in Texas.
  • Patrick Reed (18-1): If Reid has any shots on being the Ryder Cup captain’s pick, he must end up with prosperity, as he desperately loves it. It needs to start with this week’s strong show and bring it to the open.
  • Brooks Koepka (20-1): The same applies to Koepka, who has the top 10 top 10 in LIV this season.
  • Sebastian Munoz (22-1): Munoz shot his best round at Marideau in the Team Championship (8 under 64). He could potentially be a dark horse this week as someone who is clearly comfortable on the course.

2025 LIV Golf Dallas Prediction

Winner – John Rahm (5-1): He’s heading in the right direction in his game, and at some point he’s going to kick the door and ultimately win the LIV event. Rahm gets it this week and builds a real buzz to go to his next event in Spain before it opens.

Sleeper – Sebastian Munoz (22-1): I don’t know how good the sample size for a round is, but in general, LIV has smaller sample size tours. I’ll have another solid week with the guy who tore this place last year. He’s been strong all year round in four top 10 in eight events.
