Rafael Nadal has dominated the French Open since winning his first title with Roland Garros in 2005. Of the 22 career Grand Slam championships for the Spaniards, 14 appeared on the French Open clay court. His French opening has overturned other players in tennis history.

Carlos Alkaraz won the 2024 French Open after beating Alexander Zverev in the finals.

On the women’s side, Chris Ebert is the Queen of Clay. Her seven career French open titles are the most popular for any woman.

Iga Swiatek has come close to Evert’s record with his third consecutive French open title at the 2024 tournament.

The 2025 French Open Run will feature new winners on top from May 19th to June 8th.

Check out the male and female singles champions through French Open History.
