Alex Caruso named himself as one of the elite NBA defenders. The former NBA champion has become the best defensive stubborn.

Caruso emerged as a serious star during his stint with the Los Angeles Lakers, establishing himself as the team’s best boundary defender.

As a player, it’s not easy to win the trust of LeBron James. But Caruso did so and led the NBA Championship victory in 2020.

Now, with lightning, Caruso has the opportunity to do it again. But how does Caruso protect another Laker legend?

Richard Jefferson spoke on the Lord Trippin podcast about his incredible defensive performance against Alex Caruso’s Nicola Jokic and the Nuggets.

Jefferson wanted to calm Caruso, the greatest defensive player of all time, as Jokic was great and he wasn’t as big and dominant as Shaquille O’Neill.

“We can all sit here and say that Jokic is supposed to be the best player ever in the top 10, top 15. Caruso wasn’t protecting Shack. He was protecting Jokic. Jokic is heavy. Jokic is a monster. He is not protecting Shack.”

When asked who he thought could properly protect Shaquille O’Neal during his career, Richard Jefferson replied, “minivan.”

Of course, it is very strict to evaluate a player’s defensive attributes based on how players defend Shaquille O’Neal.
