Will Chelsea sign any more before the Club World Cup transfer window closes on June 10th?

On Wednesday, the Bruce announced Liam Dellup, who has arrived from Ipswichtown after Chelsea activates a £30 million release clause.

Currently, West London side will need to make any new signatures until Tuesday if they will be featured in the newly improved Club World Cup.

So, by the time the fixture arrives at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, will the Chelsea supporters present be able to sign another big name to praise?

Chelsea is about to sign a Sancho replacement

Earlier this week, Chelsea was confirmed not to sign Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho forever and chose to pay a penalty fee of £5 million, rather than exercising its £25 million purchase obligation, as outlined by BBC Sports’ Nizar Kinsella.

Sancho scored just five goals in 42 appearances for the Blues this season. In the recent conference league final, I bagged some stunning curlers against the real Betis.

England International took me to Instagram to thank Chelsea “teammates, staff, fans.” He said he “awesome experience.”

Well, according to a report by Kabe Solhekol for Sky Sports, Chelsea was “provided the opportunity to sign” Mohammed Kudus claims he has a £85 million release clause in his West Ham United contract.

Chelsea has not said “no” and is reportedly measuring whether to add him to the list of options this summer. Further reports from BBC Sport point out that there is already a debate between Hammer and Chelsea.

The Winger currently has a £85 million release clause for Premier League clubs, and the Saudi club has a £120 million exit clause, which could complicate the issue.

The Ghanaian arrived in East London from Ajax for £38 million two summers ago, and has made 80 appearances for the Hammer so far, scoring 19 goals and 13 assists.

So, with Blues looking for a winger, does the movement across the capital lie on the Kudus card?

Why is Mohammed Kudus an upgrade to Jadon Sancho?

Kudus’ performance at West Ham has been widely praised, with teammate Aaron Cresswell labeling him “top talent,” adding that BBC Sport’s George Addo Jr. is adored by “magic feet,” while he added that he is “very strong, fast, very sharp.”

Meanwhile, athletic Patrick Boyland describes Kudus as “music” and “music” that can be played on the side or central, and as a “prolific and effective dribbler.”

Adam Scully of the full football analysis agrees, “Undoubtedly,” saying that Ghana’s best attribute is his “good” dribbling ability, and that Ben Matinson, who breaks the line, believes he has “world-class potential.”

As for that evidence, he would certainly be a great replacement for Sancho, another versatile forward player. The following statistics certainly support these claims as well:

Given how miserable West Ham has been throughout the season, given he won 15th in just 11 games, it is certainly very impressive that Kudus was able to try only the second to Jérémy Doku for a successful take-on.

Nevertheless, the question remains: is he an upgrade to Sancho?

As the table outlines, Kudus’ statistics are much more impressive than Sancho’s, despite the Garnians enduring an overwhelming season on the very poorly opinionated West Ham side.

Although not on the same level in progressive carry, many of his take-ons have actually been successful, he is a constant threat and takes more shots.

As already established, Kudus is a top-class dribbler, so now you need to match the output before the goal. A transition to a better team is what he needs to take his game to the next level.
