Manchester City plans to seal Rayancherki’s signature from Lyon after it reaches a club-to-club agreement.
Fabrizio Romano posted his trademark: “I’m going here!” We provide details on everything except Man City deals on X’s official account.
Cerki is set to sign a five-year contract at Etihad Stadium, and Romano says he will pay Lyon to the midfielder who is attacking by City to €35 million.
Romano says that Cherki is set to receive his medical care and sign a contract with the city in the next 24 hours, so please see below for more details…
Romano also says that City plans to make this in time to guide Cerki to the upcoming Club World Cup tournament…
Who is Rayan Cherki?
Cerki has long been considered one of the best young prospects in French football.
Only 21 years old, France International appeared in 185 competitive games for the office lady, scoring a total of 29 goals.
In addition to that, Cherki has some impressive personal admiration for his name. For example, it was named League One Team of the Year for the season.
Cerki also finished as the top assist provider on top flights in France, as was the case in the Europa League.
Cherki usually plays in the center as a sort of 10th, so that it can be played in a variety of offensive roles, but it is dangerous as an option on either side.
Manchester City is having a busy summer after the bad season
City left the 2024/25 Premier League title race and lost to the FA Cup final, but still finished third without really trying.
Pep Guardiola’s side hasn’t been achieved even in the Champions League, so now it seems they’re determined to get things right.
Cherki is an exciting signature to bolster city attacks, giving the upgrades of unconvincing performers like Jack Grealish and Jeremy Doku.
