Man City will make a decision at age 21 ahead of Rayangelki’s arrival

Man City is set to complete the signature of Rayan Cherki, which will have a knock-on effect on one of the current players.

It was reported on Tuesday that Man City had finally signed a contract with Lyon for Cherki. Cherki will be signed in at the time to sign Pep Guardiola’s team at the Club World Cup in the US later this month.

Cherki has already joined many offensive talent at the club, including Ehring Haaland, Omar Mamasch, Savinho, Jeremy Doc and Phil Foden. Also, another player in this category is Oscar Bob, but it is not expected to remain in Man City for the 2025-26 season.

According to a soccer insider, former scout Mick Brown has confirmed that Man City is not relying on Bob for next season. Their plan is for him to leave temporarily.

“Man City is aiming to lend out Oscar Bob, which will fall to the ground for both them and him.

“After he gets injured, he has to prove to everyone that he is still capable at this level. He is a very talented player and they appreciate it very much, but that injury is a huge concern. It’s hard to come back from something like that.

“If you take him out of that Man City side and put him in another Premier League team, it shows where he is, and that’s what they want to do.

Staying in the Premier League is ideal for Bob, and Man City might prefer this too. For now, we still don’t know where September began when Norwegian International’s second summer transfer window closes.
