Winning Game 2 on Sunday, Thunder tied the 2025 NBA Finals 1-1. Oklahoma City will face the Pacers for games 3 and 4 in Indiana.

In a recent episode of “The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis,” they discussed OKC’s Alex Caruso. Four-time NBA champion Draymond Green was called Caruso in the Finals, the Thunder’s “third most important player.” The 31-year-old was extremely reliable for OKC in the 2025 postseason. Game 3 will be available until 8:30pm on Wednesday, June 11th.

On paper, the Thunder’s Big Three are Shy Gilgus Alexander, Jalane Williams and Chet Holmglen. But Draymond Green believes another person is their “third most important player.” Green defended veteran guard Alex Caruso. Although his first season with Thunder, the 2020 NBA champion was a key role player. Caruso took his play to another level in the OKC postseason.

Draymond Green explains how most teams never explain Carsuo’s game plan, which puts him in danger. In Game 2, Caruso scored 20 points from the bench, making it 4-8 over the arc. He did it at age 27, with three rebounds and one assist. Caruso was not praised for stealing, but he was a defensive pest all night. Alex Caruso is one of OKC’s top role players from Bench.

On the podcast, Draymond Green said the Pacers need to stop game planning for Chet Holmglen and focus on Alex Caruso. Green explained how Holmglen was unstable in the finals and was unstable. Alex Caruso has experience in the Finals and quietly dominates the NBA Finals. In Game 1, Caruso received 11 points, six rebounds, two assists, two assists and three steals. He’s done a little bit of everything for OKC and is definitely one of their top players in the 2025 playoffs.
