Liverpool will be in Paul’s position to sign Alexander Isaac this summer, but he is not certain that he will move in the coming weeks. Newcastle is determined to hold onto the star striker, but if they sell, he will definitely want to avoid joining Premier League rivals.

A recent report suggesting that Liverpool has lost patience in pursuing Isaac, who he wants to sign before facing Newcastle in a Premier League showdown next Monday. However, there could be a lot of further complications for the reigning champion.

Richard Keys has now told Bein Sports (via NUFC Feed) that Real Madrid is ready to take part in the Isaac race, but he also revealed that Liverpool is ready to pay £140 million to get a deal with Newcastle.

“I heard that Liverpool has made a bid today. We have a second offer next season, £80 million and £60 million. But I heard that Real Madrid might be in the frame.”

It has been widely reported that Newcastle wants at least £150 million to sell Isaac this summer, but given his strike to force him to move to Liverpool, it is possible that £140 million in St James Park will feel that Swedish International is sufficient to head towards the environment.

It is still unknown how this tense situation will be resolved. Liverpool is very keen to envelop Isaac’s signature as soon as possible, and if he can do it in the next few days, there will be every chance he will face his previous club at St. James Park.
