Manchester United’s business is already fully flowing this summer after Matheus Cunha was announced as the first signing prior to the 2025/26 campaign.

The Red Devils have driven out a whopping £62.5 million for Brazil International, which registered 15 goals and six assists in the Premier League in the campaign.

But while it may seem like a big money guy, it’s a great deal for players who can change club assets after winning a disastrous spell in front of goals over the past few months.

However, it appears that Reuben Amorim hasn’t been done there, and the striker is still high on the list of priorities, leading to many names mentioned about the move to Old Trafford.

Liam Dellup is considered the number one target before his move to join Chelsea, resulting in a change of focus and many European elites still on the radar.

The latest on United Hunt for United’s new striker this summer

In recent weeks, many top-level amulets have been mentioned as United’s options as Amorim is about to land a scorer who can back up the table next season.

Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres and Hugo Ekitiké are all mentioned as potential options for Red Devils, and no transactions have been completed for any of the aforementioned stars.

But they appear to be in the moves of Juventus star Duchamp Vlahovich, so that can’t be said elsewhere. This is according to the latest report from Football Transfers.

They alleged that Amorim has consulted with Italian attire about the striker’s move, which currently earns £315,000 a week, according to Capology.

He also said he is keen on the move to join United this summer, and the switch is seen as an opportunity to take his career to the next level, with the Premier League driving Serbian dreams.

Why is Vlahovic the United’s answer to Haaland?

Erling Haaland has been one of the premier league main amulets over the past few years, and has often consolidated many issues along the way.

The Norwegian joined Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022, then won 121 in 142 appearances by Pep Guardiola’s men.

He scored six times in eight appearances against the Red Devils, including a hat-trick in a 6-3 loss at Etihad in the 2023/24 campaign.

Given his record, most aspects of England’s entire top flight must be hoping they have their own version of the Talisman.

The 25-year-old has been labelled as a similar player to Citystar by FBREF, and hopes that he will be able to transfer his skill set to Old Trafford if he moves in the coming months.

Comparing the numbers for each of the 2024/25 campaigns shows that the Serbs managed to perform in many important areas, showing that he is an incredible addition to this window.

Labeled “World Class” by one analyst, Vlahovic has been introducing his all-around nature with the ball in the offensive area, registering progressive carry and more progressive passes from around 90 in 2024/25.

He also won more air per 90 and drew more fouls. It then provided a large focus on the top edge of the pitch for the amorim.

Juve Star also completed many of the take-ons he attempted, playing from the shoulder, falling deeper, and even completing Mazzy’s run past the opposition.

Such a move could take clubs to slam their wages significantly, but that could pass the necessary offensive threats they lacked this season to the side.

If he can reach the level generated by Haaland in recent years, it would be a sensational pickup and catapart the side that backs up the table.
