  • Why Spurs’ latest targets make better signing than Mbeumo
        • He’s as exciting as Mbeumo: to commence a £50 million bid to sign his son heir

Tottenham Hotspur has a big season ahead of them if they correct the mistakes in the 2024/25 Premier League campaign and if they correct the mistakes they finish in just 17th place.

Ange Postecoglou may have been waiting for nearly two years for the trophy, but in the end it wasn’t enough to continue working.

The responsibilities that followed were left in the hands of Thomas Frank after spending nearly seven years at Brentford and after Dane moved to north London.

In his first interview since taking the reins, the 51-year-old states the importance of building on European success, aiming to turn the club into consecutive awards during his tenure.

However, in order for him to achieve his ambitions, he needs Levy’s support in the transfer market, and it appears that important work is already being done behind the scenes.

Latest new additions on Spurs hunting this summer

It has recently been revealed that the Spurs are preparing a £50 million bid for West Ham United star Mohamed Kudus.

This summer he is not the only Premier League talent currently on the radar. Brentford’s Star Yoan Wissa is also an option, potentially following Dane’s switch to North London.

However, according to the latest TBR Football report, another new name is being promoted on the move to the club in the form of OGC’s lovely star Evan Evan Speculation.

They claim that Lily White has contacted the League One outfit about the potential moves of the 23-year-old forward.

Ivorian International also said he is keen to move to this window, with Leeds United, Crystal Palace and Brighton all pursuing his signature move.

Why Spurs’ latest targets make better signing than Mbeumo

As a result of Frank’s appointment, striker Wissa was not the only talent promoted in a move to chase after his previous boss.

The 25-year-old was a key player in 2024/25, causing endless trouble on many aspects, as seen in the 20-league goal tally.

However, such forms have not been overlooked, and Manchester United also made a beeline for his signature, and is currently leading the Cameroon signing race.

His desire to move to Old Trafford this summer has taken into consideration other targets, and Kudus has appeared as the main alternative to this window MBEUMO.

Despite this interest in Hammerstar, speculation has also emerged as a key target, and the versatility of forwards is a major factor in any potential trade.

He can manipulate either as a central striker or slightly deeper aspects in ten roles.

He was also able to outperform Brentford’s stars in many key areas for attackers, but is likely to slap a lot in the process, and he has since become a better addition.

How will speculation be compared with Mbeumo through 2024/25?

Speculation labelled “one of the best young attackers” by one athletic writer may have registered the target for this campaign, but it coincides with the bee star in goal per target shot, indicating that it has the clinical nature necessary for the attacking area.

He actually shows his ability to direct more effort towards targets than Frank’s former star boy, showing his ability to find the net when necessary.

But the lovely ace also managed to complete more passes to the final third and more take-ons.

It’s unclear how much the 23-year-old trade will cost this summer, but it’s clear that he will become a sensational option for the Spurs this summer.

Despite being a speculation and a cheap option, it doesn’t take away the talent he owns. If he moves to North London this summer, he will have the opportunity to play a key role in the club’s revival.
