Liverpool has issued a fairly clear NO for Alexander Isaac, as long as it is crucial in the first few weeks of the summer transfer period.
Arne Slot loves nothing but fronting Newcastle United’s “world-class assassin” projects, as Isak is featured in Pundit Alan Shearer, but Pif wants a package to free him from a 120kk contract a week in the 200m pound area.
Perhaps that won’t happen. But that doesn’t mean that Liverpool will shelved interest in the new number nine. There are alternative options on the market.
Liverpool is definitely spending it freely this summer, but this isn’t a spray gun approach from Michael Edwards and sports director Richard Hughes. Furthermore, it is meticulously implemented.
The rapid nature of their activities highlights the FSG’s thoughtful strategy, and the club record signs an od florian wirtz, a complete representation of that fact.
Why Liverpool signed Florian Wharts
Wirtz is now officially a Liverpool player. Last week, Mersey Siders agreed to a fixed fee of £100 million for Bayer Leverkusen starman. Now, the Premier League champions have officially announced Marquee’s move.
After some prolonged negotiations, Wirtz finally belongs to Liverpool, bringing his “truly generational talent” to the side of the slot, as sports media professional Christian Gnari said.
But it’s not Liverpool. Trent Alexander Arnold’s decision to leave for Real Madrid has upset a few and more, but here there are different breeds of playmakers.
And while Liverpool may not be able to secure Isaac’s service this summer, there is all the chance that Wirtz will lead another top-notch centre-forward supply line.
Liverpool line up new strikers
There are several Liverpool options, including Hugo Ekichique, but like he squealed the cup, Liverpool has identified Naples striker Victor Osimchen as the perfect option to sign this summer.
Osimhen, who completed the successful loan move at Galatasaray last season, is aiming to leave Napoli this summer, with the deal being expected to have a £60 million release clause.
The Turkish giant is trying to bring him back forever, but the Saudi suitor has been making long-standing bids to take his 26-year-old child to the bay.
However, Liverpool was able to give him a place before football’s most exciting project.
Why Liverpool wants Victor Osimhen
Darwin Nunes is now leaving – strangely enough, Napoli is chasing a contract with the Uruguayan star – Liverpool was able to find that they have a negotiating tip in negotiations with the Serie A champion for the profitable number nine.
After scoring 37 goals in 41 matches for Galatasaray last year and winning the Turkish Super Rig, the strong frontman at Rangy kept his instrument sharp as he targeted the moves of the statement.
Osimhen is now proving himself as one of Europe’s most reliable scorers, and while the Premier League will superficially present the highest opposing ability he faces during the season he faces his career, he has ample support on his side to maintain the top level of scoring.

Statistics through the Transfer Market |
Osimhen’s full offensive skill set and flapping mentality can not only be Wirtz’s dream, but also suggests that even the most enthusiastic fans of ISAK fans who support Liverpool can forget about the Newcastle charm.
Bossing the season that won the Napoli Scudetto on 23/2022, Osimen established himself as one of the true elites of the game, labelled “the best striker on the market” by Statman Dave in February.
ISAK may be a little more dynamic in his mobility, but the Nigerian ranks in the top 4% of European position peers last season, with top 4% of European position peers, top 18% of progressive carry, top 16% of ball recovery and top 9% of aircraft battles per 90 person per 90 person.
Ball recovery is defined by the number of loose balls recovered by the player.
He is a “transitional monster” described by analyst Ben Matinson, with incredible ball recognition and positioning that Dorses at Liverpool should have him achieve Lake’s goal, with Wirtz and Mohamed Salah creating opportunities for him.
According to Sofascole, a midfielder primarily in the central attack, but with the ability to drift through most attacking areas, Wurtz supported 12 goals over the 2024/25 season, creating 17 big opportunities.
In fact, deeper exams show that Germany’s Maverick averaged 2.1 key passes per game throughout his campaign, due to his club and country.
Looking at it, Alexander Arnold averaged 1.9 key passes per fixture, within the scope of his own career.
Wirtz has proven himself for several seasons with Bundesliga, winning the Division’s Player of the Year award in 2023/24 after playing an instrumental role in Leverkusen’s Invincible Award-winning campaign.
He’s just beginning and we don’t know how fatal Liverpool will be next year if he’s allowed to develop a relationship with Osimhen.
