Arsenal is interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaire Emery this summer.

According to a TBR Football report, they began contacting the 19-year-old midfielder to sign and asked about him. It will be interesting to see if they follow up on the enquiries with their official offer to sign players.

The midfielder has recently been linked to Liverpool. Manchester City has also tried to sign him in the past.

PSG Leads Need a New Start

The 19-year-old is not a regular starter in French outfits, and he needs to play more frequently. Arsenal could offer him more opportunities. He started 23 league games last season.

They need more depth in the middle of the park, and Zaire Emery could be an ideal long-term acquisition. He can act not only as a defensive midfielder, but also as a deep playmaker. He adds control, calm and defensive cover to the sides.

The opportunity to join one of the world’s biggest clubs is extremely exciting for him. Arsenal has been doing well over the years to develop young players, and they have been able to play an important role in his development. They were able to help him fulfill his incredible potential.

Arsenal hopes to win the league title next season, and will do well in the UEFA Champions League as well. You need a deeper team with more options. Mikel Arteta needs to spin players more frequently to keep them fresh during long campaigns. Signing the 19-year-old midfielder could prove to be a wise decision.

The midfielder has been highly praised by former Arsenal manager and club legend Arsene Wenger.

In 2023, Wenger said of Zaire Emery: “We’re talking about a boy who gave him super talent. He blossomed very quickly, so he’s called to Didier (Deschamps).

“To some extent, he makes me think about Killian Mbappe in the sense that people are already unanimous to him in an age where everyone in general says, ‘He’s talented, yes, but let’s take a look.’ ”

It will be interesting to see if Arsenal can negotiate a reasonable deal to sign players. He is not an essential asset to PSG and they may want to sell at a reasonable price.
