Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano provided the latest information on the situation of sports Lisbon’s prolific Swedish centre forward Victor Gyoker.
Arsenal is ready to bid on gyoker in the next few days. Catch off side Reported earlier today, it is clear that he is determined to break out of the current club.
The 27-year-old, who has a stunning record of 97 goals in 102 matches in two seasons with Portugal, is said to have been “griefed” by how the sport treated him this summer.
According to the Romano X post below, Gyoker is no longer planning on playing for the sport again, notifying the club of his decision…
Romano said:Viktor Gyokeres has already personally notified of his decision to leave sports president Barandas and is no longer planning to play for the club. Gyokeres wants a new chapter. He is heartbroken after the exit agreement and is not expected to return to training @abolapt Report. ”
Who is Viktor Gyoker signing Arsenal striker?
Arsenal appears to have a great opportunity here, despite the gunners also linking with RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesco.
Gyoker could now be the preferred option, with a former Coventry City man clearly pushing hard for this summer’s move.
And despite his age and little experience playing in the major leagues, Gyoker’s recent goals record looks like he could be a great addition to Mikel Arteta’s team.
Sesko is younger and may have more possibilities in the long run, but his numbers are not currently close to Gyoker.
Arsenal struggled in that division last season and urgently needed an elite goalscoller, with no player in the league reaching double digits.
The above is a neat graphics showing how to compare Gyoker, Sesko and Kai Havertz.
