Everton is doing his best to keep talented young English centre-back Jarad Brantewaite in the interests of others such as Chelsea and Manchester United.

Jorrel Hato, Ousmane Diomande, Murillo and Piero Hincapie are also in Chelsea’s view, but Branthwaite could be another great opportunity if he can’t agree to Enzo Maresca’s new deal with Everton.
United also appears to be able to bolster this summer after such a disastrous 2024/25 campaign. Switching to Reuben Amorim’s back means more centre-backs will be helpful.
