Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Nelson Semed has been linking away from the club for the past few weeks.
His contract with the club soon expired, and the wolves still could not agree to an extension with him. Graeme Bailey is currently telling Molineux News that Portuguese International is likely to move abroad this summer. It appears unlikely he will extend his stay at the West Midlands Club.
Wolves see Kyle Walker Petter as a potential alternative. The player is soon to finish his contract at Southampton and he is on the radar of multiple clubs. Signing him could prove to be a great decision for the wolf.
Kyle Walker Peter-eager wolves
Bailey said:
“I think he’s on the wolf list too, but I think he’s in a position to consider his options a bit from what I’m hearing. The wolf will depend on Semedo’s situation. The wolf has made an offer to him, and we know that.
“The Wolves believe he’s most likely to return abroad, where he’s most likely to return to Benfica. There are other teams. They wanted to stay with him.”
Can the wolf replace Nelson Cemed?
They need to replace Semedo, and the Southampton defender certainly has the quality and experience to fill in the void left by the Portuguese defender. Wolves will need to improve their team during the summer transfer if they want to survive on top flights next season. If you decide to proceed, you will need to replace the key player.
Semedo is an important player to them, and wolves must give them all their strength to bring quality alternatives. They are about to finish in mid-table positions next season, and need to close the gaps in their team.
