Lewis Hamilton Calls on Ferrari to “Tune Out the Noise” Amid Fred Vaserle’s Speculations

Lewis Hamilton highlighted the significance of “blocking out the noise” when discussing Ferrari team principal Frederik Vasseur.

Ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix, several Italian media sources revealed that Vasseur is under immense pressure to maintain his position. Ferrari has already accumulated over 200 points, outpacing McLaren in the 2025 F1 constructor standings after 10 races. However, the Scuderia has yet to secure a race win this season, and the early excitement surrounding Hamilton’s move to Maranello has faded quickly.

Ferrari is now rolling out crucial upgrades for the SF-25, making the upcoming races especially critical. For this weekend’s event at the Red Bull Ring, a new floor has been introduced. Charles Leclerc acknowledged the improvement, securing a front-row start for Sunday’s race.

Speaking with Sky Sports after qualifying, Hamilton expressed optimism about Ferrari’s development. Asked if positive results would be welcomed amid the speculation around Vasseur, he said, “We’re just working. I’m collaborating closely with Fred, aiming to fit every piece of the puzzle together one step at a time. I’m really pleased with the progress we’re making.”

Hamilton also commended Ferrari’s performance in qualifying, recognizing the team’s hard work despite previous frustrations over radio communications and misunderstandings. “No, that’s a great result. The team worked incredibly hard this weekend to bring us the new floor,” Hamilton said. He noted the significant improvement from earlier struggles and praised the team’s efforts to stay close to the front. “For Charles to be on the front row and me in the second shows we’re moving in the right direction. My final lap wasn’t perfect, but the session had many positives. It was likely our best day, with excellent timing, traffic info, and track positioning. Honestly, it was world-class, reflecting what we’ve been striving for.”

Fan Take: This update is crucial for racing fans because Ferrari’s resurgence could dramatically shake up the 2025 championship battle. If Hamilton and Leclerc continue this upward trajectory, it could reignite one of F1’s fiercest rivalries and bring intense excitement to the sport.
