Keanu Reeves will be holding a new multipart documentary series following the Cadillac Formula 1 team’s journey to the grid in 2026.

The filmmakers and actors recently created a documentary telling the notable story of the Rossbroe eponymous team, which was born out of the Honda Works team’s withdrawal and officially won both championships in 2009.

In a partnership with North One, the unscripted series explores behind the scenes of Cadillac’s journey as the team is built from the ground up as new constructors.

“I am extremely honored and thrilled to be part of the incredible Cadillac Formula 1 Team Story and an incredible journey into the world of Formula 1 racing,” Reeves said. “Our goal at Docusary is to bring audiences to the heart of this journey and showcase what it takes to participate in one of the world’s most exclusive sports arenas.”

The project will receive exclusive access from Cadillac, TWG Motorsports and General Motors (GM) and document how to establish a competitive team with the American Foundation to compete in Formula 1.

“It’s a story of bold ambitions and ruthless drive,” said Dan Towriss, CEO of TWG Motorsports and The Cadillac Formula One Team. “We are honored to work with Keanu, who has a deep racing passion and knowledge of racing. We are proud to partner with GM in this incredible story. We have the opportunity to welcome a new generation of fans into Formula 1.

The producers say the series will air before the Cadillac’s first race in Formula 1, with the 2026 season taking place on March 8th in Melbourne, Australia.

“General Motors and TWG Motorsports have joined forces on a bold mission to build a distinctive American Formula One team,” added GM President Mark Reuss. “It’s a thrill to have Keanu Reeves record their journey to their first season of the Cadillac F1 team at the FIA F1 World Championships.”
