West Ham United hopes to appoint Fiorentina Chief Scout Antonio Tramontano this summer.
According to an Exwhuemployee report, Tramontano has been attracting the attention of Premier League clubs and is trying to bring him in as he aims to make a big difference behind the scenes of coaching and scouting.
West Ham needs to improve adoption
West Ham has been pretty mediocre when it comes to transfers these days. They need to improve in that department and introducing the 36-year-old could prove to be a wise decision. He has an impressive job at Fiorentina and aims to make a sophisticated contribution at Premier League clubs.
According to the report, the 36-year-old will focus on Italian talent and report directly to Kyle Macaulay’s West Ham recruiting chief.
The opportunity to join the Premier League club is extremely exciting and Tramontano aims to make his mark at the English club.

Antonio Tramontano helps to sign talented young people
Last year, West Ham had a disappointing season, but they start to bounce back hard. They need to sign a quality player to do it. They cannot spend a lot of money on established superstars. Therefore, they should aim to invest in talented young players with great potential. Bringing quality scouts certainly helps them take advantage of that market. It is still unclear whether Tramontano can help West Ham unearth any future gems.
Meanwhile, they are also approaching the appointment of goalkeeping coaches. Casper Ankergren is expected to be part of Brøndby.
There appears to be a big overhaul behind the scenes at West Ham, and it will be interesting to see if they can follow it with their team rebuilding before the new season begins.
