Jarrad Branthwaite signs a new Everton agreement

Everton is approaching signing forward of the La Liga

After the spells loaned out at Blackburn Rovers and PSV Aindhoven, Branthwaite has become one of Everton’s main defenders, which has led to speculation that links him to his recent move to Manchester United. However, Everton acted quickly to secure his future, and Bluntwaite will be “over the moon” in extending his stay with the Premier League side.

Branthwaite told the club’s official website: “I’m over the moon, that’s what we’ve been talking about since the end of the season, and signing it now is something I’m really excited about.

“The trust the club has put in me and the number of games I have played over the last two seasons made it a very easy decision for me to stay and continue to advance as a player.

“I know the club, I feel loved by the players. There’s a good group here. The impact fans have on us as a team over the past few years, and obviously, the new stadiums we have here, the new ownership, the new manager, that’s an exciting project and that’s what I want to do.

“Together we move to a new stadium and play that first game at home is something we all look forward to. We want to go again and seek a good season.”

Everton wants to sign World Cup winners on a free transfer

Now that Branthwaite’s future has been resolved, Toffee is paying attention to anyone who can play with him. According to the Daily Mail broadcast by Liverpool World, Everton is interested in signing left-back Nicholas Taliafico on a free transfer.

Argentina International, which won the World Cup in 2022, left French Lyon, whose contract expired earlier this month. Given his situation, David Moet is interested in adding him to his team. Because he offers the competition for Everton’s only left-back, Vitaliy Mykolenko.

Taliafico, who was previously known as “quality,” has never played in the Premier League, but has a huge European experience after playing for Lyon and Ajax in recent seasons.

The report claims West Ham and Sevilla are also interested in signing left-back, but Toffee may have the edge in this race as Tallianfio has the same agency as current Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
