Chelsea is set to demand up to £50 million for the relocation of England’s Winger Noni Maduce this summer amid interest from Arsenal.
The talks between the Gunners and Madueke representatives have been described as accelerating, but it remains to be seen whether the two clubs will be able to agree to the deal.
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea expects Maduke to offer around £50 million, but it is not yet clear whether Arsenal will pay that much for the 23-year-old.
The report says it points to Anthony Elanga in Nottingham Forest, where the Bruce could move to Newcastle at a similar price this summer.
Should Arsenal pay £50 million for the transfer of Noni Maduce?
Arsenal fans have already made it clear that they are not happy with Madue’s transfer link, especially amid doubts about Ethan Nuwaneri’s future at Emirates Stadium.
It’s hard to understand that the AFC is in motion for Madueke, who doesn’t guarantee a Chelsea starter. It would also not be regular on Mikel Arteta’s side due to the presence of Bukayosaka, another left-footed player who plays on the right flank.
£40 million seems like a lot to team players, so it’s hard to see this anywhere, unless Chelsea lowers its demands.
Otherwise, Arsenal may likely find a new position for Madueke on the left, but it’s not too difficult to imagine Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Torosador being able to leave the club this summer.
Has Chelsea left on behalf of Madueke?
Chelsea already brings Jamie Gittens as their new winger, but Estevao Willian is also scheduled to move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
While it may be that CFC feels that overall is sufficient, some fans will want to trade Madueke.
As Fabrizio Romano said in the above post, West Ham’s Mohamed Kudus appears to be on Chelsea’s radar.
Hammerstar can also play on the right flank, but he doesn’t necessarily look much better than Madue as he didn’t have the best season last year.
