Fabrizio Romano lifted the lid in a “secret” talk held between Arsenal and Sport Lisbon in the last 24-48 hours at Viktor Gyoker.

Regarding Arsenal’s Gyoker’s move, Romano said: “Today, Victor Gyoker will be going to Arsenal, so we have to open it with a big bomba marking the transfer window this summer.
“Arsenal has been looking for a striker for a long time, so it’s a big one, but now we’re pretty much there to find Mikel Arteta’s new number nine in this race.
“Why? During the last 24 hours and 48 hours of secret, silent in person meeting in Portugal, Arsenal has gone through a lot in conversation with Victor Gyoker’s sports.
“What happened in the last 24-48 hours is that Gyoker, in a very clear way to the sport, said he wanted to go to Arsenal and wouldn’t show up for training next week.
“He’s not going to play for the club anymore. He wants to go to Arsenal. There’s an agreement between Victor Gyoker’s agent and Arsenal with manager Andrea Berta. The contract is ready. The salary is agreed. The world package is fine.
Romano added: “He’s pushing him to go to Arsenal, and now the deal is really close.
