He is trying to seal the North London movement for his client.

Kepa was Andrea Berta’s first official arrival, joining the £5 million move from Chelsea, and Arsenal followed that, following a £60 million move from Zubimendi’s Real Sociedaddo after months of consultation.

“We are delighted to have a lot of pride in bringing Martin to Arsenal and completing this move,” Berta said in a statement from the official club.

“Martin is an important target for us and we all know that he is the perfect fit for our team of high quality he has. We welcome Martin and his family to the club. We look forward to seeing him settling down with his teammates and are extremely excited to see him play in an Arsenal shirt.”

Attention is now being directed at those who can follow the Spanish international duo, and Berta is currently spinning many plates.

Arsenal is believed to be closed to a deal to sport CP striker Viktor Gyoker, and if completed, the 27-year-old’s arrival marks the long-awaited end of Berta’s search for nine prolific numbers.

Elsewhere, Arsenal has agreed to personal terms with Chelseawinger Noni Madonueke and is believed to be chasing Crystal Palace Forward Ebe Kieze in a completely independent deal (ESPN).

Valencia defender Christian Mosquera is also continuing talks over Arsenal’s move, and the Spaniard is likely to enter as a similar replacement for Takero Tomiyas, who was released last week.

However, before any of the aforementioned deals reach a conclusion, Mikel Arteta’s side is set to announce the arrival of midfielder Christian Norgaard from Brentford.

Arsenal Complete Christian Norgaard signs medical “complete”

That’s according to trusted journalist David Ornstein, he now reports that Norgaard has completed his medical care at Arsenal and that the club will officially make it at some point this week.

The 31-year-old brings Premier League experience and top-level know-how to Arteta’s team as Arsenal tries to finish a league title for more than two years.

Former Tottenham director Frank Arnesen certainly thinks they had a great business here.

“Every dressing room will be excited to have him. He has the right mindset, a team player and an attitude,” Arnsen told Tipsbladet.

“I think Mikel Arteta was great as a player. As a coach, he did absolutely great things in the way he played football at Arsenal, and then as an assistant to Manchester City.

“He doesn’t just take players without knowing exactly what he’s going to use. Maybe he won’t play 50 games. You don’t know, maybe it’ll be 30, but that’s about the whole package. He’ll get the whole package with Christian.”
